  • Photoshop & Procrastination

Photoshop was going crazy, but I had fun with this one photo I was playing with. It looked really creepy when I was doing it but it grew on me. It's all abstract and artsy-ish. It does look a bit scary, but I like it.

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and it's also the last day of break. I'm halfway through the questions for the first of three chapters for AP Bio. I still have to do my Stat Take-Home Test and I have a paper to write about The Color Purple. Methinks I shouldn't have waited until today to get started.

In fact, I should be doing my biology now but instead I'm on Xanga. I can say I'll go back to it as soon as I finish this entry but I know I won't be. I'll be watching The Ten Commandments on ABC, hahaha.

Oh, and the Orchestra/Band/Chorus trip is this Thursday and I had brought my violin home to practice the songs and solos. I had my driving portion after school that day so I put my violin in the trunk. As it is, I forgot to take it out after the session. I called that Driving School asking if I can pick it up. They told me Victor was out for most of the day but to call back at 1:30 PM to see if I could get it from him while he was at lunch. I called back and it was busy. I called back two more times and it rang on the third try. No one picked up though. I left a message and left my home and cell number. I never got a call back and I left that message on Monday.  Now the break's over and I haven't practiced. Plus, I'm worried the violin cracked or broke from the weather conditions. Grr.. maybe I can get it this Monday. I can't go to my regularly scheduled driving session this Wednesday either because I have a game that day too.

Beaucoup de work to do and so little time to do it in. Ah, c'est la vie.

First game of OVS '07 is Easter Monday at 4:30 PM at the top field at Veterans' Park.  Come and support if you want!

  • Binghamton -- fo' sho'

I sent in my deposit today. Looks like I'll be up at Binghamton for the 2007-2008 school year. Yay! I'm content about my decision now and I'm more than excited to get up there.

I still haven't heard from Clarkson and, come to think of it, I'm not sure if I sent in a complete application to them either. Whatever, I wouldn't have attended. It doesn't offer Nursing. It was a free online application though and they kept asking me to apply. Plus, I had a scholarship there for $11,000 a year.

I got on the waiting list at UPenn and I'm not about to spend more time and money trying to get to the top of that list. I won't be able to pay for four years there anyway.  I'm just kind of happy I didn't get flat out rejected. Hehe, the perks of going Nursing to a school.

I also bought my prom dress yesterday. It's the first one -- the green one -- so thanks for the feedback! I think it looks nice.

So, I'm trying to get feedback on having a Mardi Gras Prom Theme. Feel free to leave some comments because I'm getting a lot of mixed responses on Facebook. The only thing this means is that we'll have green, gold, and purple colored balloons and beads. We don't have enough money in our treasury to go all out. Besides, I heard the Fountainhead is really elegant as it is so not much decorating will be needed. Centerpieces and the beads would be my main concerns.
