Binghamton -- fo' sho'
I sent in my deposit today. Looks like I'll be up at Binghamton for the 2007-2008 school year. Yay! I'm content about my decision now and I'm more than excited to get up there.
I still haven't heard from Clarkson and, come to think of it, I'm not sure if I sent in a complete application to them either. Whatever, I wouldn't have attended. It doesn't offer Nursing. It was a free online application though and they kept asking me to apply. Plus, I had a scholarship there for $11,000 a year.
I got on the waiting list at UPenn and I'm not about to spend more time and money trying to get to the top of that list. I won't be able to pay for four years there anyway.
I'm just kind of happy I didn't get flat out rejected. Hehe, the perks of going Nursing to a school.I also bought my prom dress yesterday. It's the first one -- the green one -- so thanks for the feedback! I think it looks nice.
So, I'm trying to get feedback on having a Mardi Gras Prom Theme. Feel free to leave some comments because I'm getting a lot of mixed responses on Facebook. The only thing this means is that we'll have green, gold, and purple colored balloons and beads. We don't have enough money in our treasury to go all out. Besides, I heard the Fountainhead is really elegant as it is so not much decorating will be needed. Centerpieces and the beads would be my main concerns.

Hey--linked to you through one of the blogrings we're both members of.
Wanted to say hello while I was here! Enjoy high school while it lasts...
Hey, first things first, Congrats on choosing a college. I know you had a tough time choosing, and Im sure youlle have a blast at Bing!!! Just warning you ahead of time....Im going to be visitin and I expect a tour!!!
Good luck with Nursing...its a hard profession to go into, but its definetly worth the time and energy it takes (My mom's a nurse...Pediatric) and thats what she always says. She also says be prepared for lots of ungrateful people, but depending on who you want to work with, sometimes its ok. Like, she said that the ids are more then worth it!!
About the theme for prom, sounds like you could...but Im not so sure what that would ad to the atmosphere. With a theme like that, you have to make sure it doesnt become
sleazy" and thats the hardest part....I think. Anyway, whatever you decide....It will be a BLAST...Im sure. A Night that wont easily be forgotten in anyones minds!!!!
Enoy the rest of your break!!!
i kind of likea themed prom so yeah. whatever it is i'll priobably be content

You don't want to go to NYU??? Oh, is it cause of nursing?
Be happy. I heard that in Binghampton, you can go scuba diving in the pool.
