  • New this, new that

    New layout. Pretty in pink.

New pic. Yes, I'm wearing a shirt. It's a tank.

New clothes. Went shopping with Radha last Saturday and it was amazing. No stalkers, thank goodness.. lol. I bought my first shirt from Hollister -- I know..  -- and bought a bunch of shirts from Aero -- they're all 50% off!! I depleted my bank account by half and my parents saw my bank statement.. ruh-roh. Anyway, so I've gotta make that back..

Scheduled my road test, but I'm angry about how late it is. I wish someone'd told me that you should schedule the test a month in advance sooner. Mine is September 6th.. at 9 AM. Geez, I'm not even half-awake at 10 AM.. Grr, and it's the day before school starts. Oh well, I guess it's better than having to wait additional days. If anyone has tips, by all means.. I'm open for them. I'm taking it at Yorktown and methinks that's where the infamous "Failing Gail" gives the tests? Fun fun..

  • One More to Go!!

Wow, I haven't written in Xanga for a while. Man, that's nearly a month of life gone by without documentation! Ugh.. and there was so much to write too..

Oh well, can't cry over spilled milk. To just record the last several weeks:

    - It was Tom and my Second Anniversary on May 27th. I Y you, Twommy!!
    - A video on Pam's friend's myspace got me into this Korean drama called "Goong" and I have been absolutely obsessed with it ever since. I
Y Lee Shin and Chaegyung!! Joo Ji Hoon is amazingly cute -- and that's a lot for me to say because I've never been attracted to asian guys.
    - Went to Carey's Grad Party and it was a blast. Who's a Pretty Pretty Princess?! lol.
    - I took my last final on Tuesday -- no more AP U.S. History!! w00t!!
    - Junior year is finally over and now SUMMER begins!! Only one more to go and it's off to college!! w00t!!
    - I'm still really stressed and overworked because of Class of 2007 stuff, work, and volunteering. Who knew shirts would be this difficult to arrange?

I have to go to a Graduation Dress Rehearsal for Orchestra in about two hours and fifteen minutes. Oh boy, then it's off doing something else.

Man, I thought I was almost out of my Goong phase.. but I'm back to square one, haha. I want SEASON TWO!! It can't come and quicker..

  • Junior Prom was the shizz!

Check out my myspace for the breakdown. You have to go to the blog and click on the "Junior Prom Recap" one. Sorry, not many pics.

  • Prom tonight! w00t!

Got my hair cut last Tuesday in Flushing. This asian lady named Sue looked like she was in her late 20s or early 30s and it turns out she has a daughter about to graduate from college next month. My friend was like "wow, she was really well-preserved." Haha, I thought that was funny.

Sue also curled my hair into loose waves because that's the style I want my hair to be in for Prom tonight. It came out great. [[Check out my myspace for some new pics.. and comment! ]] The only problem now is to try and get my hair the same way. I'm headed over to Meaghan's in a little bit to do makeup and whatnot. She said she has a billion curlers, so I'm hoping she'll help me out.

Can't wait, I've got to be at the high school by 5 PM so I'll be off.

Oh, and who knew I was supposed to put money I'm trying to deposit in an envelope before putting it in the ATM? Haha, had to take money out for the corsage. I put in $20 and lost it.. woops. Chase people were cool about it.. even the big fat creepy lady whose always mean to me. Yay. All right, I'm off. Ciao!

  • Stampede '06

I had a tournament for Varisty Softball today. Carmel Stampede '06! Our first game was at 9 AM. We were told to meet at the high school at 7:10 AM because the bus would be leaving at 7:15 AM. We didn't leave until 7:30 AM -- and I rushed like a madwoman at 7 AM trying to get there on time! Oh well, it was what it was.

We played Carmel first. They were section champions a couple years ago, but I thought we really had a chance. We did great. We lost, but it was how we lost that was great. We held them for most of the innings. Our defense was awesome, but we had two innings where we lost it. They had a couple homeruns and they scored on us big time during those two. The final score was 9-2, but it was really a 4-2 ball game (errors gave them more runs). Oh, those two innings plus we weren't really swinging the bats too well. Jenna is, of course, and so is Suzanne. Jess is a beast at sprinting and bunting.

We watched Mahopac vs. Blind Brook. We play Mahopac this Monday, I think they're decent. We definitely have a shot at winning, I'd say. ..If only I could get my bat working.. Mahopac won that one and we faced Blind Brook at around 1 something?

We won against Blind Brook. 2-1. Again, our bats weren't superb but it was enough to hold them and get third place. Ack, I suck! I'm fine with fielding, but I don't know what happened to my bat! It's gone! I can't hit for my life. I always have that one clutch hit towards the end of the game into the outfield.. and someone catches it. Ugh.. it's driving me nuts.

We were third last year too. I enjoyed both games. It was fun playing for a trophy. The free food wasn't half bad either. Can't wait for next year, but I'm going to miss the Seniors soo much! I don't want them to go!!

  • I got my Prom dress yesterday. Tom came with me. Oh man did I feel bad for him. I was dragging him all over the place and asking him to get different sizes. I had the feeling he might just collapse or ask to go to the Apple Store or something but nah -- he was really good at helping me out and being patient with my shopping. He's one awesome dude. I love you, honey!

I got it at Jessica McClintock, suggested by both Radha and Mrs. D. so thanks! It's brown. Yeah, that sounds disgusting but I happen to really like the color. It's a silky chocolate color. It has ruffles in the middle and a cute mini-skirt. It goes down to a little above my knees. I like it a lot. Now, to accessorize! I need shoes, earrings, and a necklace. I also need to book a manicure and pedicure session.. ugh.. and all in two week's time. I'm so good at getting things done early, ha!

  • I found my APUSH notebook!!

I got it back the Friday before break. Claire A. accidentally took it by mistake. Probably during the switch between her math period and my english period.

I haven't started any of my work and this break went by too fast.

I don't want to go back to school.. don't let them make me!

  • Shitaki! I lost my APUSH notebook. I'm pretty sure I had it after the evacuation..

I'm scared I might have left it in front of some person's house when I was waiting for Tom. Oh man.. this is utterly crappy. It probably got blown around by now. Man, do I hope it's somewhere in Mr. C's room and I just forgot to take it with me.

..I have so many rewrites to do..

I'm truly screwed for this quarter..

On a lighter note, my brother finished Kingdom Hearts 2. Ugh, the ending isn't as good as I thought it would be. Still glad, but I want to see the secret ending. I'm obsessed! It happens everytime with these CG/RPG games. Ugh..

  • Happy St. Patrick's Day all!

I went to the city to participate in the St. Patrick's Day parade with the Colorguard. It was awesome.. aside from we "stepped-off" [aka "started to march"] at least two hours longer than we were supposed to. We had to start at 2:20 PM, we started at at least 4 PM. And we got back at 7 PM. Our permission slip said we'd be back by 5:30 PM. To think, I could've been sleeping for about an hour and thirty minutes already!

I messed up, but I didn't drop my flag! Yay! Once again, I didn't have matching white gloves like the rest of the Ossining group because somehow I'm just cursed to not wear matching gloves.

My flag kept whipping me whenever I did the windmills or the boat-paddles. I couldn't get it out of my face and my hair was static-y for some reason so even if I pushed it out of the way, it'd stick anyway. It was annoying. It got me real good in the cheek -- 'twas like a whip!

In other news, we rocked and Sephora [Supriya] got hit with a cane! Feel better, *screams at top of lungs* SEPHORAAA!!

  • The concert last night went great! DBR is amazing. I got him to sign my program, hehe. The orchestra kids performing kind of messed up at one section, but the horns drowned us out anyway.

We did awesome for finding out that we had to repeat each measure twice and having to play the piece twice as fast only two hours before actually playing. There was a really cool violinist who gave us the "black power" sign and the "rock on" sign before the concert. It really helped calm my nerves.

Hip-hop, classical, and soul is one great threesome.
